Popular Grand Theft Auto insider Adrien Perea has predicted the release timeline of the official GTA 6 announcement, gameplay trainer, and the game itself.

GTA 6 should not be released until 2025, according to insider Adrien Perea via his Twitter account. He is considered to be a relatively reliable source in the gaming community, for having – among other things – provided early information about the release of updates for games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Ghost of Tsushima, as well as bringing information about the cancellation of relaunches, such as GTA 4 and Red Dead Redemption, which were confirmed shortly afterwards.

The date of 2025 also seems plausible, taking into account the recent leaks, which showed GTA 6 still in the early stages of development.

When is GTA 6 coming out?

Adrien Perea also then commented that “it’s pretty much obvious, I’m just confirming it,” to reinforce the information that, because it’s in early development, GTA 6 really isn’t coming out anytime soon. The insider does not mention, however, which platform the game will be programmed for – whether it will come only on the current generation or whether it will also come out for the previous one.
