GTA 6 RP? Rockstar Games acquires company responsible for FiveM, the GTA RP platform

Rockstar Games announced on Friday (August 11) that the team from the Cfx.re studio, responsible for the application that enables the creation of private roleplay servers within GTA 5, has been acquired by the company and is now part of its internal structure.

GTA 6 RP: Roleplay in GTA 6?

Cfx.re gained significant recognition for having developed FiveM (GTA V) and RedM (Red Dead Redemption 2). The announcement by Rockstar Games might indicate that the future of GTA 6 could involve an official roleplay component.

The developer of the GTA franchise also highlighted that it has recently expanded its policy on mods to officially include those created by the creative RPG community, as a way to further support these player and fan endeavors.

According to the company’s statement, the partnership will allow the Cfx.re and Rockstar teams to collaborate in finding new ways to support the community and enhance the services they provide to their developers and players.

Lastly, Rockstar promised that more details will be revealed in the upcoming weeks and months. This development is evidence of the immense popularity of GTA RP servers, where participants can choose to have families, jobs, friends, and much more.

Each GTA RP server has its own rules and communities that must be respected by those who wish to participate. Additionally, each gameplay mode room also has its unique ways of access, including interviews and questionnaires.
